Hi-Res PDF X1a version 1.3 files Canned images must be high-resolution (300dpi), CMYK (No spot colors, RGB, LAB, or ICC color profiles)
GENERAL FILE REQUIREMENTS
Files to contain only 1 page or 1 spread. Pages must be created to include bleed when required. All trapping should be done prior to creating the file. Include quality control patch (color bars) outside bleed dimensions. All marks (trim, bleed, center) should be included in all colors.
All advertisers are automatically opted in to the corresponding digital edition. Should an advertiser wish to opt out, it should be noted on their insertion order. No new materials are required for digital editions. For all standard units, we will utilize the original supplied files straight from print.
INSIDE-BACK COVER and OUTSIDE BACK COVER will be brought forward in the digital edition. OUTSIDE-BACK COVER will be the first ad following INSIDE-FRONT COVER. INSIDE-BACK COVER will follow OUTSIDE-BACK COVER.
All specified colors will be matched as closely as possible with 4-color process ink as set up in file. Art files will be archived for two years.
All advertisements shall contain the following non-DOD endorsement disclaimer: "Does not imply USACE or DOD endorsement."
All print ad purchases include a 300x250 banner ad. The banner ad will be located on Americas-Engineers.com and placed within the same article as your print ad is featured within.

Each image must be submitted as a stand-alone file. - One image must be designated as your ‘featured’ image. - All images should be a minimum of 300 dpi - Each image’s location in the story, should be marked up in your text file (.doc) and should include a caption and image source/credit. - You may provide up to two links or URLs that you would like to include in the article, please mark them up in your text file. - Your article will be shared via social media, be sure to provide your organizational Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter account names, along with two relevant #hashtags in your text file.
