Parsons Government Services Inc., Pasadena, California, was awarded a $164,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for design completion and construction of a new explosives decomposition chamber facility. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work will be performed in Kingsport, Tennessee, with an estimated completion date of March 20, 2027. Fiscal 2022 procurement of ammunition, Army funds in the amount of $164,000,000 were obligated at the time of the award.
